Does anyone happen to know the name & number of the hotel at the gate of St.Andrews
in Panama City

Not sure if this is the one you are talking about or not, but the Aqua View Motel is located right next to the Panama City Dive Center.

Moonspinner Condo is the closest property but expensive. If you book at Aquaview ask them to turn on the Window A/C before you get there. I usually stay at Hampton Inn on Thomas Dr but La Quinta is close too.

There are several condos between there and the gate. As pamawi said, Moonspinner is one of them.

I prefer to use the trailer park right next to the state park. It's called Venture Out and it's the last road on the left before the State Park. I have a friend with a unit there that I use but there lot's of folks that rent there's out. The main thing I like is each unit has it's own driveway and I can park right at the trailer, unload and wash my gear on the front porch. It's also safe to leave your gear out to dry on the front porch (been doing that for almost 15 years now with no problems). Most double units sleep 6 adults comfortably...the single units sleep 4.
