Hotel-Dive boats near each other in Ft. Lauderdale area?

That's a great idea and I really will consider that.

Do you know if the Bahia Mar or the Ft, Lauderdale Grande Hotel have dive boats at their marinas? If so, do you happen to know the names of the operator?

B.t.w. both of these hotels have that same policy regarding the refrigerator.

You could always purchase a cheap styrofoam cooler at a grocery or drugstore and use that for a couple of days. Hotels still have free ice, right? Or at least I hope they do!!! What a ridiculous rule and I wonder WHO in their right mind EVER actually uses the stuff provided in those minibars anyway?

No, I sure don't, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you dive with American Dream II.

Try this hotel Bahia Cabana (800-323-2244). It is in the Pier 66 area and there is a dive boat in the next door marina or at least there was.

If not Pier 66 is very close, which is where Am Dream is located. The Cabana is also a watering hole for local fisherman.. very quaint.

My office is on 17th Street Causeway, the same street as Pier 66, and the other hotels I mentioned. Let me know if you need a dive buddy when you come to town!
