We always get a 2nd or 3rd floor room, and take the gear to our room, rinse it well in the tub, and put it on the balcony to dry. Just not willing to take the chance on the lockers. Have done the same at Fiesta Americana as well, and in both places, if you look at the rooms, so do most people
;)

I used the lockers without any worries, though I always brought my reg and computer and camera stuff back to the room. I left my booties and belt laying out to dry one afternoon and didn't realize it until the next morning, it was safe and sound in the DP booth.

South 4 Scuba:
At Hotel Cozumel it is very unlikely that you will get an ocean view room. <snip> Odds are very low that you will get to see the ocean from your room.
Ummm, all it takes is to ask!!! (that and $10 extra per night)

South 4 Scuba:
However, there are some pretty good sights around the pool. Especially at spring break.
And if you're an adult you'll definitely want an Ocean View room then. Not everyone likes the shenanigans of drunken college kids... or drunken "adults" especially.

I wouldn't stay there again for free unless I had one of the Ocean View rooms... but then again i'm a snob :mooner:
