I'm curious, after watching several traing videos, why does it look, at least to me, that the people diving "horizontally" look like their legs (knees) are lower than their waist/head? I know it's not much of a dfifference but, it does look like it at least.

Whenever I try to stay horizontal, I try to make everything straight (from the shoulder to my knees - if anything, head up and a slight arch in the back) and parallel to the bottom. Am I over exagerating the horizontal position or am I doing it correctly?

I just want to make sure I'm doing it right before I decide to take a Fundies class and have to relearn.

Thanks,

Michael

Most people don't have good trim and their knees are down a bit.

A lot of this is because they are looking straight forward. Most people drop their knees a bit when they stop and look at stuff.

So I could be "trying" to do it correctly? I figured being "flat" in the horizontal position is ideal. I think in the way if I do a helicopter turn, if I had a pole under me, I'd be "balanced" on it and turn with out "wobbling". Make sense? Right idea?

So to stop the knees down, they need to look more forward/downish instead of straight forward?

Thanks,

Michael

EDIT: I love to fat finger letters.

It is ideal while under propultion. Its not ideal when looking around.

Thats one way to think about it. Look kinda down and "lift" your knee's. If you do that while being video taped, you will start to get an idea what good "trim" feels like. Its either that or just feedback from your buddy.
