The plan...

Leave Long Beach on the Catalina Express at 10 am.
Arrive at Scuba Luv around 11:15.
Dive on a guided tour of the park at noon.
Plan to do another dive after we get back from our first dive. Anyone up for an Friday afternoon dive?
Leave back for Long Beach on the Catalina Express at 8:50.

Dinner suggestions and suggestios of what we should see or do before our boat ride back would be awesome!

Looking forward to diving tomorrow,
Jenny

Ah, good choice on the dive park since you'll arrive too late for the King Neptune.

I will be down there briefly during the day but am planning to do a night dive after 7:00 pm.

Dinner recommendations vary based on food preference and budget of course. I'd suggest Armstrongs, Lobster Trap or Steve's Steakhouse with Villa Portofino a possibility for a romantic dinner (I don't know much about those!). For good basic foods Antonio's Cabaret or El Galleon is a good choice. You'll miss karaoke at the latter since it starts at 9:00 pm.

This is YOUR day!

Enjoy the dive and all that Catalina and California has to offer.

I just returned from 2 weeks in South Bend, Indiana where I attended the Notre Dame foot ball games. The Hoosier hospitality is certainly alive and well !

Sincerely hope you return to Indiana with the same impression of California

By the way where is Central Indiana? Ft Wayne? Indianapolis? Where?

Nice to meet you at Scuba Luv today. Look forward to your posts about your diving experience here. I'm just getting ready for my night dive now.

I thought I heard some bubbling coming from Catalina way that sounded like this:

Back home again in Indiana,
And it seems that I can see
The gleaming candlelight, still shining bright,
Through the sycamores for me.
The new-mown hay sends all its fragrance
From the fields I used to roam.
When I dream about the moonlight on the Wabash,
Then I long for my Indiana home.....

but the melody also sounded a little like this:

California, Here I Come
Right back where I started from
where bowers of flowers
bloom in the spring
each morning at dawning
birdies sing at everything
a sunkissed miss said, Don't be late!
that's why I can hardly wait
open up that golden gate
California, Here I Come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
