Does a neoprene wetsuit hood sealing to your face present a potential barotrauma? I have been instructed to always let water into hood upon entry to avoid possible trauma. Are dry suit hoods different in this regard?

I'm in Canada and dive with a dry suit exclusively, I have an attached latex hood. I do not let water in. wet is colder.
Simply seal your hood over your mask, and exhale a little under your hood.

Squeeze and barotrauma risk solved.
