I was awake early this morning and tuned to DISCOVERY KIDS CROC FILE (the kid's version of the crocodile hunter)

It went something like this ...

OK MATE, I be underwater scouting the reef SHARK. Lets see how The Sharks can track and sense their food.

I have here some carcass of fish from the boat that i will hide on the reef !!!!

LOOK !! The Sharks can sense their food already !

and this is supposed to be a children's SHOW !!!!!!!!!!!! :bonk:

I like the "Crocodile Hunter", I really do, however, he certainly should not be considered a role model for what kids should and shouldn't do, and his diving techniques are to say the least very poor.

hehehe ... and he was diving with his khakis short in the show today !!! :D

and also in one segment he is trying to free this shark that got entangle in the NET with his bare hands !!! :bonk:

I THINK THE SHOW SHOULD BE RATED R !!!!!!

should be referred to as the 'Crock' Hunter...what a load of bs this guy touts.

I'm a biologist and really get peeved over his interactions with wildlife...he has to touch, prod, and torment everything he encounters.

Whatever good he does by creating awareness of wildlife is completely diminished by his message that they are playthings for humans to harass.

Just once, I like the croc to take nice nip out of the big gasbag.

(the FedEx commercial where he gets bitten by a venomous snake is perfect...)

But this guy is a sight to see...at least once anyway. He is quite comical, but he is a bit extreme. The guy has at least two or three loose screws, and those are all the arews he has left.

Dxtreme once bubbled...

Not just today. Everytime I've seen him dive it's been in his khakis get up. I wonder if the bush jacket also comes in 5 and 7mm thicknesses. :)

And of course if you want to bring your kids up the right way, be sure to buy them Wiggly Safari for Chrissy.

The Wiggles at Australia Zoo, Starring Steve Irwin.

(I can believe its my daughters fav wiggles video)

Did you see him surfing in Indonesia? He can surf! Duuuude!
