Holiday Sales?

I never really noticed, but do scuba vendors usually run holiday sales?

I am taking a class in late December and I would like to get a bp/w package before then. Currently I have found 3 package deals around $400 that I am considering. The packages include Golem, Oxycheq and HOG. From what I have read here those seem like decent wings and should serve me well. But if I could shave a few more bucks off a deal on a sale I would be happy.

I have the option of borrowing a bp/w for the class, so I do not need to buy right now. But I would "like" to take the class in my own gear.
