What a great bunch of folks here! We've been lurking about for a couple of days and reading up on opinions and such...too much fun. I find a minute quickly turns into 30...and into an hour...and into....

Great info and fun personalities!

My wife and I are total diving newbies. Just finished OW classroom and pool work and will be making our OW cert dives in Bonaire in about 3 weeks. We can't wait!

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and welcome any posts/emails from other newbies, Chicago divers et al. We're thrilled to be diving in and look forward to the day that we can make some intelligent contributions (instead of just asking questions).

Best fishes and safe travels:)

Thanks all for the very warm welcome. Julie, where in Chicago? N/NW burbs here. Would be interested in gabbing with ya about Chicago clubs and LDS'. Drop me an email or post if ya don't mind. Larry, semi-lived in Houston for about a year (whole story in and of itself). Still go back once a year.

Again, thanks to all.
