HOG dry suit inflator fitting

Hello,

I just received my dry suit and was able to get it into the pool tonight. The problem was the inflator did not work very well at all. I had just bought a bc/drysuit qd inflator hose from XS Scuba (EZQD-36) for the suit. When I got home I hooked up the inflator hose from my wing (Deep Sea Supply) and while it was a little difficult to connect it the dry suit inflator worked fine.

So I am wondering if there is anything special about the connection? Or if I just got a bad hose from xs?

Any ideas?

Try the hose on a BCD. Probably a loose Schrader valve.

That was my next thought. I do not think I did that last night.

Another question for the HOG guys....

Was the suit supposed to come with an inflator hose?

I actually just heard back from the HOG guys on the phone and they are shipping out a new hose that should have come with the suit.
