Hi, I have a Hog 32lb Wing and Phantom hoses on my first stage D1 cold water. However, the BC inflator hose doesn't seem to lock onto the Hog 32lb Wing's inflator interface (It won't click and lock into place). Now I actually have 2 Phantom LP inflator hoses (one for a drysuit). They work with all the BCs I've used up until this point. Does the Hog wing have some other type of interface (Apeks or something like that) instead of the normal/general/whatever interface? I really would like to get a Phantom Hose working on this wing (or a MiFlex as a second option). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just finished useing the #32 and a T-17 from DSS and used the inflator hoses [theirs] interchangebly w/o any problem....Should be standard stuff....You can buy a separate inflator connector [female] to screw onto the Phantom, I have one of those too and it works fine...Might e-mail Divegearexpress just to make sure...They carry HOG, Phantom and the connectors.....May just be a bad connector or post.......

actually tested the phantom and 3 other style LP inflator hoses with the 23 and also my old wings and all THE EDGE BCD'S over the weeked. Long story short the PHANTOM hose didnt fit the 23 or my old wings, all the other hoses fit everything.... I am 99.9% certain it is a issue on the hose side, versus the wing.

Have had no issues with a Miflex on my HOG 32# wing inflator.

IMHO the best method of connecting an inflator or inflator/regulator to your first stage is with a standard second stage (or Miflex or Phantom) hose coupled with a screw on adapter. There are a few advantages in doing it this way. For one thing l/p second stage hoses come in a large variety of lengths making routing much simpler. Additionally, if the hose becomes defective one only needs to change it out. See the links below for an online supplier of hoses and adapters. ( for standard fitting you need the HOAD4)
