Yea, a new backplate with a Air2? what's up with that?

if you're open to pondering an issue, turn to page 79 in your hymnals (DIR Fundamentals, JJ, 2000/2001), and read the footnote (#13) at the bottom of the page.

Now imagine the CF that must be taking place that would require some miserable hoser to be forced to breathe from his power inflator.

Now ask yourself, if YOU were that miserable hoser, in the middle of some complete CF, donating gas, left post gone,...would you rather tie up your left hand (and light head) trying to breathe off your power inflator or would you rather stick some inflator/reg in your gob and still have two hands to deal with the CF?

If you're not open to pondering the issue, of course, then its all academic. But if you're open minded...if a CF can be envisioned that would cause JJ to note that breathing off one's power inflator is an option, some would suggest that that same CF might be managed more effectively with two hands. Have you ever had a really, really close call down there? Sometimes things happen that elude the most in-depth planning.

Ask yourself, "have I ever really tried to swim 100 yards horizontally, then surfaced all while breathing off a power inflator?" Try it. It's an education. Yeah, there are issues with inflator/regs. But there are issues with doing the same thing trying to suck off a power inflator also.

Its worth a few minutes of your time to consider it from your own perspective.

if you practiced enough, you probably could learn to work the power inflator with your lips and tongue.

Think about it! Both hands free and you don't need a safe second.

I'd like to see JJ do that! Hah!

We should put you down as "undecided"? :boom:
