Hello to all! My name is Kristi and I am new here to Scuba Board. I have never dove before but plan to take classes over the summer with my husband! I look forward to reading the Board and learning a lot from many of you so I will know things before I start class. So please educate me!

Sorry about the late welcome. I just found you post in the 8th page of greets. I don't know how you slipped through the cracks. Welcome to the board. It was a good thing this wasn't a dive boat. Oops, bad joke!!!!

My wife and I started diving last year, and just a little hint...sometimes, it is better to have a dive partner that you are not married to...anyway, welcome to the board!

Welcome! My wife doesn't dive, but I wish she did, sometimes I have difficulty finding a buddy. When you and your husband dive beyond your OW course, discuss your objective for the dive (exploration, observation, photography...). A person wanting to explore wouldn't want an underwater photographer as a dive buddy. Good luck with your courses, don't be afraid to ask questions, and most importantly, have fun!
