Hitler's Lost Sub

At the reccomendation of someone here, I ordered Hitler's Lost Sub from PBS..WOW what a great DVD! Takes the emotion from the book and lay's it RIGHT out in front of you.

Some of the footage is just amazing!

Go get it if you haven't seen it and liked the book!

And if you liked the book, you should give the Audiobook (digital,not cassette) a try. I found it to be a much better experience than reading the account.
The unabridged version, read by Michael Prichard, is amazing.

Never tried an Audio book.. is it just someone reading? (doesn't that get a bit boring?)

I find it really boring but a guy I did a trip with found it the best ever.

I'd rather listen to music.

Shadow Divers was a great read.

If you like sub movies, check out "Das Boot" (The Boat in German).
Great sub movie.

Though not sub related, there is a new book out also on
the tradjedy of the Peter Hughes Wave Dancer flipping called
"No Safe Harbor". I was told it was a good book to read.

the lost sub in the title of HItler's Lost sub is the 869, the documentary is about the story told in shadow divers
