I think he thought, and may still think despite all that has been written, and PM's between he, I and others, scuba gear was easily categorized.
My last recommendation in a PM was a BP/W from a certain well-known company, just because they're pretty good, until I realized that - whatever he buys - he wants to just put it on and dive. Without some friends, or spending time and dives with a competant shop/DM, a Hog rig's adjustability will probably be a lost cause on the divers who don't want to spend time learning. I sorta now realize that, until some proof of sefl-sufficiency and a willingness to learn is made, the original poster probably should find a BCD that fits well, then just zip it on and wear it. After all, in the threads of SB, alone, is nearly all the info one could ever ask for regarding common recreational BCD vs. BP/W, brands and models. A few hours reading threads, like so many of us have done (some exhaustingly) in our spare time, will tell a buyer a good deal about what is available and what's worth buying.
I kinda hope he doesn't go for a BP/W, now, as I don't want a diving accident on my conscience.
