Hi There:
Im nbrowne from Lakewood, CO . Been Certified since 99. I'm going to Cayman Brac for the first time on the first week in May 06. We'll be staying/Diving at Brac Reef Resort. Does anyone have any experiences there? Good or bad. I like to be prepared.

I've been to Cayman Brac many times. I have stayed at the Divi as well as the Brac Reef Resort. If you love quiet, like I do, you'll love it there. If I may suggest, if you have a couple of extra days, you might stay on Grand Cayman and experience StingRay City. Also, "reef divers" (the dive op at Brac Reef) will take the boat at least once to Little Cayman, take as many of those trips as you can. The Brac has some excellent dives, I'm sure you'll get your chance to dive the Russian wreck as well as the reef on the south and north sides of the Brac. About a mile down the road from where you'll be staying is a rent-a-car. Some things to do would be to rent a car or motor bike and give yourself a Island tour. You can also shore dive if that is your desire - with a car. The Divi will provide tanks for shore diving but I'm not sure about the Brac Reef. There are not alot of restaurants and you will find the food plentiful and good at the Brac Reef. If you have more questions about the Brac, let me know, I will answer as best as I can.

Whoops.....Welcome to the board! I hope you find the board informational and friendly.
