Hi to all from the big city of Red Rock, Texas which is just a little east of Austin, TX. I am a old diver (age wise) that would like to do more diving. I was certified by PADI in 1992. My best dive trip was to Grand Cayman Island and hope to get back there someday. I would like to dive in Lake Travis more just because it is near by. I am more or less a single diver the wife will not get in or near water the desert suits her. By the way, Red Rock is not big if you know where it is, bet you been lost. Hi again

Oh you are never to old to dive. But I do wish I had started this addiction a little sooner in my life. Welcome to the Board.

:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

I was down in San Marcos last month to go thru the course at Aquarena Springs. Very interesting.

You are going to be so glad you found this board. I have been diving for 16 years, yet have learned so much in the short time I have been on SB.

My father (Ancient Mariner here on ScubaBoard) is 73 and dives all the time. For him, age is all a state of mind.

Welcome to SB!

Heya and welcome to the ScubaBoard!

There are a lot of divers in the Houston area, and they're active here and on singledivers.com. You might be able to hook up with a buddy from one of their groups.

Good luck and welcome to the board,
Grier
