Hi from the the south coast of the UK. I have just found this board and it looks great, having already found the answers to my next kit purchase questions.

I have been diving for nearly 4 years with my wonderful wife as my sometimes reluctant buddy.

I have dived in the UK, Gozo, Crete and Jamaica, and this year will be trying tobago out for size.

Welcome to the board, Peter. Is your wife involved here, too? If not, please tell her she has a personal invitation from Love2godeep!

I have a hubby who's not into diving, but maybe someday.....

Sounds like you've spent time underwater in a lot of great places. I'll look forward to your posts.

Howdy Peter! :sunny

Welcome to SB!! :happywave Put us in your favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue:

Hi all again, thanks for the great welcome.

Jon, It's good to know there are others around who are local. There are supposed to be some good wrecks just of the shore of Worthing/Littlehampton, but I have not yet dived any. Have you?

L2GD, My wife dives, but tends to be too busy with our 3yr old daughter to follow any boards. I do try and pass on relevant things to her though.

Don, I have already learnt quite a lot from reading the various posts, and can see that arguments are fairly frequent.

Joe, The closest that I get to Southern California is SF, which I normally do once a year, but I'll try and wangle a meeting or something further south.

I have dived a few wrecks, mainly off of Littilehampton and Worthing. There are approximately 100 to 150 known wrecks in this area (10 miles.) If you want to get together in the summer, keep in touch, I'm diving around Selsey too. It's not just wrecks, there is underwater Roman villas, the place where Stonehenge was carved from, a Roman fort and sunken villages. Enough to keep you busy?
Regards
Jon
