Hi there, everyone-

I'm a single female diver, (thirty-something), located here in Scottsdale, Arizona. I haven't been diving in a few years, but I'm hoping it's just like riding a bike. lol! Looking for a fun dive buddy or two...or twenty. I'm hoping to go on some trips to the Sea of Cortez this summer, so I can begin to enjoy the ocean again.

Cheers,
Niki

Welcome to the ScubaBoard! I'm sure you'll find plenty of dive buddies here on the SB.
Time to get back in the water for sure!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Niki Welcome to the board'

Be sure to pop on over into the Arizona Forum and say Hi! We (I'm in Peoria) dive locally as well at Lake Pleasant; although it's very cold right now, but the water temps are in the 80's during the summer. Great place to brush up and practice before that trip to San Carlos and to hang out and socialize with some divers, plenty of buddies to be had.

Welcome to the board Niki. I dove the Sea of Cortez a few years back out of Loreto, BCS. Had a great time. If you get the chance check it out.

Welcome to the Board, Niki! Garrett has already pointed it out, but make sure you visit the Arizona Scuba forum. There are quite a few of us that post on there regularly, as well as dive locally on a regular basis. It is a little chilly most anywhere we can drive to from Arizona right now. The lakes are in the 50s, Sea of Cortez in the San Carlos area is in the 60s, and San Diego is in the 50s. If you have a 7mm and don't mind a little cold, come on out!

Scuba diving isn't difficult to remember, but you should definitely do a review course before you get back in the water.

Even if you don't plan on diving this winter, come out to Lake Pleasant sometime. We'll be there this weekend at Scorpion Bay. Just come out and meet some of the local divers.

Welcome to ScubaBoard. It is good to have you with us.
