Hi, My name is John and I do most of my diving here in Minnesota. I am a member of Isanti County Dive Team. We have only 4 members on that team, but we are pretty efficient. During the 2010/2011 ice diving season I logged 1116 minutes of bottom time under the ice. We do quite a bit of open water diving as well. I don't (or should I say: I haven't) log into this site very often as I mostly use the MNSCUBA.COM site to communicate with local divers. I really like the variety of opinions on this SCUBABOARD site.

Diving is more fun when the water temp is 40 to 50 degrees warmer than the air :D

Hey John. I live down by marshall... I'll be certified here in a few weeks if all goes to plan:-) where are some good places to get started around our beautiful state? Definitely want to see ice diving in my future, but I'm sure that's a long ways down the road. thanks

Welcome to Scubaboard John! Its been a while since I've talked to you. I went diving last august(?) on spectacle lake with you and Angie.

Hopefully we can make it out again this year!

Josh

Thanks for the warm welcomes. We will need to dive again Mr. Arkman.
