Hi there Scubaboarders

I'm Johnny and I've been lurking and reading the forums as a guest for quite some time.
Now the time has finally come to become a member.

A bit about myself

I have only been diving for a bit more then a year but I was bitten hard by the scuba bug.

I became a Divemaster about 10 months ago and I'm doing my IE later this month.

I did my open water with the awesome Dolphin Divers in Freemantle, Western Australia
Then Advanced, Rescue and eventually Divemaster in Koh Tao, Thailand

If anybody around here is looking for a buddy I'm real happy to dive :D

I like slow dives and I love to look in all those hard to see places.

What I really love is clean up dives. Don't know why but it just feels like a good deed when its done and it improves the next dive.

See you around on the forum and in the water

Welcome to Scubaboard Johnny!

You sure have accomplished alot in a year! Are you able to dive full time?

Where in Israel do you usually dive?

Thank you.
I was diving full time in Thailand.
I haven't done much diving here yet.
I dove twice in Eilat but mostly Nahariya, Atlit and Caesarea.
Once I get my OWSI I'll get working on my internship (required by Israeli dive law) and then I'll apply for teaching permission (Again required by Israeli dive law) and then I'll hopefully be able to do it full time during the summer.

How about you, where do you dive in Israel?

Howdy and welcome to Scubaboard. :admingreet:

I bet there is good diving there.

I did a dive in Caesarea. Definitely a unique dive, even if there was really not much to see. The land-based archeological site is nice, though. On the same trip to the region I also went down to Dahab and did a few dives. Welcome to SB!
