Hi everyone,

This is a great forum, I'm really finding a lot of usefull info
I'm alex from Antwerp, I've been diving for a while but always only on hollidays (Utila-Honduras, Cuba, Red sea, Great barrier, New zeeland, ...) Recently signed up in a CMAS diveclub here in Antwerp and had I first dive in Zeeland, diving here is a bit different but also very cool.

My next dive trip will be starting in march and will be towards Thailand-Indonesia-.... where I want to do a divemaster course and take it from their. When it will end is not defined. My search for info on diving + SouthEast Asia is getting in a higher gear and I welcome all info.

Cheers lex
;)

Hallo Lex,

Welkom! Bedankt voor je berichtje aan mij onder mijn introductie. Leuk hier ook een zuiderbuur tegen te komen! :)

Het Europese forum waar ik het over had is deze:
http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=1000&forumid=25

Groetjes,
Watersprite

And Welcome to the Scuba Board. :hi: This is a fun place to hang out at times, and we're glad to have you. :thumb:

Look out now, Watersprite:

This is a family board, and I'm not sure you can talk like that here. :hehe:

I visited The Netherlands for a week, in '88 I think it was, and I was impresed that almost everyone could speak English to us pitiful Americans. Your country folk were very kind, although my J.R.Ewing hat got a lot of looks, and your country pretty. I've long wanted to come back for another visit, but not that I'm into diving - didn't think I would. I'd love to hear about diving the Zee...?!

thanks, don

lol.. sorry Don... Lex started talking Dutch to me in the other thread :) Usually I try to stick to English but I guess I was too exciting to see a neighbour on here! :)

Glad to hear you liked my country! Scuba diving in the North Sea is quite nice... I have tried it only once though. I find it way too cold here! I'm a holiday diver. <grin>

Where abouts in Zeeland did you dive, Lex? I dove at the Grevelingen. Loved all those crabs and lobsters! awesome! would love to go diving again there some time... probably in the spring/summer again!

You'll have a great time here. Lots of good people and info. Sounds like you've gotten around to a lot of nice places.

Also, I must say that you and Watersprite talk better English than some of us Americans.

Again, Welcome.

Bill:)

You'll have a good time here. And follow the advice of Watersprite and El Orans. Zeeland has good diving.

And pay no attention to DandyDon...he sounds like a city-slicker to me! :D

Regards,

Phil
