I am new to the scuba board, but not to the spot of diving. I just recently overheard a few friends discussing the information found within the board and thought Id check it out.
Seems like a wealth of information and a good place to exchange ideas. Also looks like a place you can get bruised if your not accurate with your information, but then again, this is a sport that you should not dive into without a good education (sorry bout the pun).
A little about me .. Ive been diving for many years, but my enthusiasm for the sport has gotten the better of me. I have crossed over to the professional side so I can share my passion for the sport of safe diving. I unfortunately can only teach part time as being located in the middle of Texas has few opportunities to make a real living teaching scuba. However, the experiences have been gratifying. I have had great students who constantly keep me updated with their diving adventures and experiences.
I hope to be an avid contributor and help out where I can.
