Welcome aboard! I'm new to diving myself and I can tell you that you'll find tons of useful information in the old threads. I've spent hours reading here and can't believe how much I've learned. Most everyone is very helpful.

Welcome aboard. Where in Florida are you located????
In South Florida? When you come on to the board scroll down to
Florida Conch Divers. It is full of great people to dive with and help in any other way.

Howdy!

Welcome to SB!!
:happywave Put us in your computer's favorites and check in often. This is a great place to learn, compare, argue :argue: Look around our various forums - everything from New-To-Scuba to Instructors-Only to Dive Medicine.

Key Largo has a number of Operatos with boats geared towards newbies. That's where I went to get my first few dives, and it was wonderful.
