Hi All!

Im a reasonably experienced diver, (diving for circa 30 years now under three different certification regimes), and am pleased to say Hi to all my fellow enthusiasts.

Currently living in Spain, on the Costa Blanca, near Javea. If you are around here, please do say Hi! - Some great diving in the Med around here.

Anyone know where i can lay my hands on Scubapro service manuals, Ii would be obliged for the link or the tip. - thanks.

Stay wet all! ;)

Kenn.

Hi Kenn and welcome to ScubaBoard, Spain eh? How is the diving there?
David

Welcome to the board. Try posting your question in this forum.

Click here ---->[red]General Scuba Equipment Discussions[/red]

If you are looking for a reg manual, maybe this forum would work also.

Click here ---->[red]Regulators [/red]

And if that is not enough, maybe you can post it here.

Click here ---->[red]Q&A from your Manufacturers [/red]

I hope this helps and I did not over do it here. Anyways, if there is anything I can do for you, just give me a PM.

I did a Google search on Scubapro Manuals, but don't know enough to narrow it down. You might take that approach...

Thanks DinDavid, Murphdivers and DandyDon, informative and helpful, thanks for the information. - I havent pinned down the info yet that I need, but hope to soon...

Diving around here in the Med is great DinDavid, good variation of dives, (Walls, Islands, Beach, Boat, Caves, Grottos, wrecks, etc), with reasonable Viz and good fish and coral variations in really clean water. Obviously not Micronesia or the Red Sea, but if you live here, you have the dives year round, and during the Winter months the sites are almost empty. My nearest beach dive location is 5 mins away, and a good boat dive location is only 10 mins from the dock. - So really not bad at all! And a 5mm is plenty good enough, even during mid winter... (Try that in U.K. Waters! - lol).

Downside here is the lack of ethics and experience in the local dive shops and service centres, - dive training is fine, as a lot of instructors fly in for the warm season to do training, but you cant get decent serving done locally that i can find, although everyone tells you THEY can do it! (I had to strip a "serviced" R190 octo last year before I used it for the first time after "servicing" to find the membrane had been reinstalled the wrong way round, and find 2 o rings missing...). The last first stage (mk20) i sent to Scubapro Barcelona (4 hours drive away), to be serviced, they returned to me (it seems), but it was "lost in the post" and 18 months later we are still arguing who should then suffer the cost of that...- Hence the desire to do the yearly services myself on my Families equipment, by doing a complete replacement using a scubpro service kit, (I am trusting the lives of myself, my wife and my two daughters 14 and 16 to these services...).

So All the best all, and thanks for the replies.

Kenn

Hey Ken, sounds like you have some very nice diving, and close by.
Try posting you question on reg service manuals in the Regulator forum, it should get better responses there. There is a guy named DA Aquamaster here on the forum, he seems to be an authority on regs, try and send a private message (PM) to him.

Hi Kenn,

Welcome to ScubaBoard. I would LOVE to meet you in Spain for a dive or two, but money, time, family commitments, etc., etc., etc., beckon. Anyway, welcome to ScubaBoard and if you're ever in San Diego, send me a private message (PM) and we'll do a dive here!
