Just thought that I would say hi. I am new and just saw this sight and thought kewl! I have been diving for about 5 yrs, well out of those 5 yrs that I have been certified I have only actually gone done I think 11 dives, but I am just now starting to get back into the swing of it all. I am buying new gear and going with my family and we are diving, I am only 18 yrs old, I have been diving since I was 13. Does anyone have any suggestions where to dive around Austin-Lubbock Texas?

Tayler

Hi Taylor and welcome to SB. I wish I would have been able to get in to diving at such a young age. You have a lot of diving ahead of you in the future. Good place here on SB to research your gear choices. And wait 'til all the Texans on the board find out you are here.

Wow, thats a nice mellow red. I didn't get mad or anything. The doctors were wrong.

Welcome to ScubaBoard :D

If you're in Lubbock, I know all too well that your best approach is to get to know the two dive shops and earn extra money for Cozumel trips. If you're a days drive away in Austin, you'll find local possibilities with the Texas dive club suggested in the link above. Big difference in the two locations there...? :icoeek:

Also be sure to check out our :newbie: dive forum found on the main listings page. PM me if I can help you find your way here...
