Hi everyone, just saying hello. Recently started diving again after a six and a half year layoff. Started diving in '92....certified as PADI Divemaster, IANTD Nitrox Technical and NSS-CDS Cave. Feel free to talk to me about anything.

Welcome. I hope you are taking a few "refresher" courses to help get back into the sport. Since you are in Kentucky you are real close (at least from my area - the right side of the map of the USA) and want to go to cave country. We will be there 11/22 - 12/30/10 I'm trying for my Apprentice cave. I don't think I'm up to 4 days of the pressure at my age. :)

Thanks for the welcome. :D I'm afraid that I didn't take any refresher courses. Just went to the pool and got reaquainted with my gear. Did a few dives in the local quarries to test gear and work on skills. Went to Florida and followed my former cave instructor with a class he was doing. Surprisingly, I hadn't lost that much of my skill but my comfort zone definitely wasn't what it used to be! Have fun in your cave course!! Cave diving is my favorite since I got certified in '97. I was afraid I wouldn't be comfortable in a cave after such a gap but it came back fast.
