I did a fair amount of diving near you at the quarry in Fisherville. Not sure what you need to do to get access to it but I think there is a fee to dive there now. Maybe someone else knows.

Hello... I am from Arlington VA and my dives have been in Key Largo. I will be going to Fort Lauderdale end of the month. Always looking for dive buddies in the area.
Chuck and I live in SW Virginia and dive as much as possible. Chuck's a professional firefighter,too!
We dive Florida when it's cold around here, head to the Carribean a few times a year, and do a bunch of quarry diving in the summer months.There are many firefighters in our dive group, so if you are looking for a fun bunch to dive with, maybe you can join us some time.
