And the 8 is noticeably better than the 7 too.lol...yeah, you could do the $100 off GoPro trade in and get an 8 and a supersuit and it would be cheaper. Definitely not as nice of a housing, but would fit your requirements and save a couple bucks.
um, absolutely better underwater - image stabilization and video bitrates are significantly better than the 7 (I have both).um, not really as it applies to underwater...

Never heard of him - but, in every clip of his video, the 8 looked better than the 7 to me.Really? There is this comparison by Harry Averill for underwater footage that concludes it isn’t. It may have a more convenient super suit though.

I guess so - maybe a better monitor too? Color and contrast were a bit better in most of the 8 clips. It’s not dramatic - but I can see the difference.You must have really good eyes because they look identical to me.
