I'll be trying out a Hero 4 Black in a couple months primarily for wet use during a trip. I'll be using it at 4K/30 with Protune enabled. I know from previous experience that sometimes certain SD cards can be finicky or out right useless when using the GoPro at full quality. This problem existed with the Hero 3 and the GoPro recommended Sandisk memory card. I started a thread a couple years back regarding that fiasco: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/go...k-w-new-firmware.html?highlight=gopro+sandisk
Anyways, I just purchased a 64 San Disk Extreme Micro SD card from Amazon at a pretty good discount during their sale yesterday. Amazon.com: SanDisk Extreme 64GB UHS-I/U3 Micro SDXC Memory Card Up To 60MB/s Read With Adapter- SDSDQXN-064G-G46A [Newest Version]: Computers & Accessories . This card is on Gopro's recommended list but some of us know how that can go.
Anyone have any experience with this cards performance at 4K/30 Protune on the Hero 4 Black? The reviews on it seem to be mostly positive but there are a few that say it falls short with the Hero 4.
