Just took out the Action 4 and Hero 12 for a day of diving to compare footage. The intro and first dive are shot on the DJI, and the surface interval and second dive with the GoPro. 4K 24 FPS, natural color, no grading for both cameras. While the dive sites were different, both had OK ish light (second dive had worse vis but was shallower).
Small sample size, but I think I prefer the DJI.
