I have been looking for a new wetsuit and have settled on the Henderson Hyperstretch 5mm. However, my LDS does not stock this product. I have seen other posts that have recommended both following the sizing chart and purchasing 2 sizes smaller. I am getting confused.

I am 6' 215lbs, 33" waist, 47" chest, so even looking at the sizing chart confuses me. Anybody have similar proportions that can provide a little guidance?

Thanks in advance!:)

Is there another LDS in your area that carries it? If you go to hendersonusa.com, they have a listing for all shops that carry it. Also, on the web page, they have a description of their altering service, where they take a stock suit and alter it (only within a certain range, however). Also, they have a "custom" suit service. I've personally never tried these, though I have interest in getting a hyperstretch, as I certainly don't have a standard size (i've been described as a "keg" size :) )

I Bought a Henderson Hyperstretch 7mm and it was delivered on Wed. I tried it out in the pool last night before I take it out to Lake Michigan. I love that thing. You will be very happy with it.
I am 6', 260, 40" waist, 50" chest
I bought a 3xxx and it fits like a glove.
The farmer john that I was using I could barely touch my shins bending over, with this I can put my hands flat on the ground.
Full range of movement.

Well I am 6'2 300 lbs(135kg)...will the XXXL hyperstretch fit me? And why do they mention with the suits? does it really matter how heavey you are?
