Trip Report Hen and Chickens Islamorada 6-1-22

[deeper thoughts]

Unbelievable viz in the marina ,canals ,nearshore waters and the reef
40 plus viz on this inshore reef
water temp 81, 1mm and back to 4 pounds weight
flat calm to start the day and a bit choppy on the way home
no current and a decent amount of boats on the reef
seems the 5 tarpon on this ball are regulars now
nice amount of angel fish and fish life was thick today
baby eagle ray no more than a foot it seemed
turtles on surface
nice leisurely almost 2 hr dive
see if any photos came out later on (tg5 no housing or strobes)

Unbelievable viz

Nice Cuda pict! Unfortunately I think the viz for everyone is going to be trashed for atleast a week or more until the currents can push out all the fresh water rain runoff we are going to get with this storm named Alex. What ever happens in the Gulf, slowly moves over to the Fl SE side.
