# of dives
500 - 999
Some of the best viz I have seen on this reef ! 60 feet or so
Some of the worst fish life I have seen on this reef!
78 degree water temp
1-2 foot swells
This dive was on ball 3 one of my least favorite but the only one available
It is the most isolated so you are usually dodging fishing lines/hooks(no fishing area)
Police did hand out some citations today here
No wake zone hahahaha
Today I had the pleasure of a 50 ft sport fisher doing donuts over my head in 15-20 feet of water
One more month to go and spring break will be over
Water is definitely warming up nicely

Do you thinks those things are connected, or incidental?

Glad you got to get out.
Coincidence but the donuts didnt help lol
further north they saw about 20 eagle rays and tarpons everywhere

I probably shouldn't ask but which is worse...Spring Break or Mini-Season?

Boater's who don't have a stash of numbers but have google maps on their phone so they just use your flag to mark on their phone.

For us spring break
We predominantly dive in the spa so no mini season divers there usually

This is being discussed amongst some spearfishers who are thinking shallow water blackout from freediving. Fairly well known spearo. Was on Davis near your Hen's and Chickens but was on the 19th>friday.

I have a couple of hundred dives on Davis
Never interested in the “deep ball” but is a favorite of fishers/spearfish outside the spa
