Help!

Hi folks,

I'm a newly registered user and trying to up-load my picture, a .jpg file extension ( see attached ).

Is the reason it doesn't work because a picture is considered an avatar and requires 50 post to activate?

robert, what dose it do when you try to upload it, there is no minimum requirement for your avtar, unless your pic is to big

Hi Jim, Thanks for responding.

The picture uploads ok. and should be within the maximum requirements of 100 x 100 pixels. I think mine was 94 x 100 pixels & 4kb.

My concern was that if they are treating pictures and avatars the same, there seems to be 50 post minimum rule before you can post a avatar.

The site isn’t very clear about posting pictures, and implies that the only requirement is that you have to be a member to post a picture.

*smiling* I think I have this figured out. The picture option is displayed when you click on a divers profile. To have it under your name you have to upload it as a custom avatar, although I'm still now sure where the 50 post rule applies.

it sounds like you have this figuered out , and i hope so, i dont know of the 50 post rule so if you have any more problems you should be able to get one of the moderators to help, but if i can be of any help i will certainly try.
