I'm a single parent who needs to get away to maintain my sanity... I want to head over to Catalina the second or third of August... for a few days.... I'm going solo...... any suggestions on where to stay would be greatly appreciated.... at this point I'm not looking to go economy... I just want to have a good time with the easiest access to some good diving... with as little effort as possible.. I look forward to any suggestions!!! Happy diving everyone!!

I see that you've already read through The Great Catalina Island Info Sticky Thread!

You may want to try the Seaport Village Inn.

They'll pick you up at the boat and take you to the hotel and then take you and your gear to the dive park and pick you up when you're done.

I haven't stayed there, but have heard from people who have that it's a great place to stay.
