I have a 13cf and 6cf pony for dives 80' and under. Wanted to know everyone's opinion on mounting it like this to my BP. Thought it would be better to be mounted here to turn on and off as well being balanced. My only concern would be my main tank hitting it? What does everyone think?

It looks like the pony is sideways under the BC. Is that right ? I usually wore my pony on the side of my 72, and valve down.

It is sideways... That is my main question why is this wrong? What am I not thinking of? It seems to be way more balanced there not too mention easy too get at.

I have never mounted a bottle like this. I do not see a particular problem with the configuration. I do mount a 6cf bottle, inverted, toward the bottom of my left side of my BP. In that position, I can easily manipulate the valve. And, there is no issue with balance for such a small bottle.

Just be careful with the valve/regulator when getting back on the boat and sitting down. Those boats can get crowed sometimes.
