I just don't log dives
Picked this up in 2012 and it's sat unused since then. Not a DOT tank. Guy I bought the kit from said he got it in the Caribbean. M25 H valve (?)

Yes, the neck threading is M25x2
12 liter volume
230bar working pressure
Empty weight 17.8KG
Born June 2001

A 12L 230bar cylinder of that weight is typically a short stumpy sized one. Good for short folks but heavy out of the water.

You will have a tough time finding a place in the US that will hydro it for you...but if you can get it hydro'ed then you will run into issues with fills unless you have your own compressor.

It's def short and fat. Might be worth more taking it to the recycle center. I was hoping the CA marking I saw was Canadian and is then allowed to be tested and filled.

Roth is a company in France located north of Paris. I don't know what the CA means but unlikely that it means "Canada".

I lived in Belgium for almost 10 years, our house was approximately 2.5 hrs from Paris situated so close to the Belgian/France border that one could easily meander across without knowing it. I state all that to say in all that time I don't recall seeing very many Roth cylinders used for diving.

Perhaps someone else on here will know what the CA stands for.

Either way, good luck with it and if you scrap it, hopefully you get a good wad of cash in return.

Cheers,

La pression effective maximale à la température de 15°C précédée de la mention C 15°, exprimée en bar.

Max efective pressure at 15°C = 230 bar

and from Roth France. CA means : CHARGE à 15° CESLSIUS
CA: Charge À = "Fill To".....totally makes sense.

Thank you for providing this info.
