HELP with Diving in Asia

Hello,

I'll be in Shanghai August 25th for a wedding and I'll have a week after that for diving. I originally was thinking about Thailand, but started reading about the bad weather in Sept around Andaman sea area. I was wondering if anyone could point a direction for me for good diving in Sept. N Sulawasi? Sidapan?ect?? I have only been diving in California and the Caribbean so I'm sure any diving in Asia will be good. Macro stuff will be a plus.

Manado/Bunaken and Lembeh in N. Sulawesi are undoubtly the world class wall and macro diving sites, Can easily be reached via Singapore, Jakarta or Bali. Check to Indonesia forum; you'll find lot of information regarding both places.
