I spotted a jellyfish at Madrona point I haven’t seen before… It was apx 2 inches wide. Hade a small black dot on the top center and 4 orange fuzzy lines coming off of it inside the shell, but the lines never left the shell of the jelly , the orange was very bright. The tentacles were mostly clear and like a moon jelly’s but some were thicker and white and hade spade shaped bumps an them.. .
I so didn’t touch it… LOL

If you know what it is please let me know.. I like to identify everything I see, kind of an annoying habit of mine..

Speaking of weird jellies, there were a ton of moon jellies at Kelvin Grove this morning and I saw one that had six rings instead of four. Anybody heard of this before - is it a common variant or was this some bizarre mutant?

left over mutagenics from the unprocessed sewage this last couple weeks??
