Hi everybody !
I'm new on this forum and French, so sorry for my inglish !
I am searching to buy a coputer and I hesitate between those three :
- CRESSI Archimed
- OCEANIC Veo 250
- UWATEC Aladin pro II

Can you help me to make the good choise please and explain me ???

Tanks for all ! ;)

Hi Fonz,

I use the Cressi computer because of it's large numbers and easy to read display. I find it very user friendly and would definitely recommend it. A few days ago I went diving with a friend who uses the Aladin. He has two of them, so just for fun, I wore his extra along side my Archimede. I found it also easy to read and understand. But I did not like the wet contacts. I prefer the buttons on the Cressi.

I hope this helps you in your decision!

All the best.

Phil

Thanks DutchDown !
On the main screen does the Cressi display all the important values : Dive Time, Max Deep, Actual Deep, Deco Info, Temperature etc...

Thanks !

Did not know if you were aware of it, but the Tusa IQ-700 Computer is really the same as the Cressi Sub Archemedies Computer except the Tusa version can do dual gas mixtures and comes with a lens scratch protector.

The same computer is also sold under the dive rite name plus a few others. Either way they are good computers, made by Seiko, and distributed through a bunch of different channels - but if you want the ability to go to 99% nitrox instead of just 50, you may want to look at the Tusa Version.

Yes, but when will Tusa/DiveRite/Apeks finally release the PC download kit?

Having just bought the Apeks version (same as IQ-700) my advice would be to make sure that any accessories that are important to you, like the download kit, are available before you place an order for any computer.

Darkstar is right, the download is not available for another month... if that is important to you... I never use the download software for my computer, but I know some like to.
