Help please - Fort Lauderdale

Good morning. We will be in Fort Lauderdale over Thanksgiving and we only have Wednesday morning to dive. Would we be better off going to Blue Heron Bridge in West Palm Beach (high tide 9:50 AM) or a boat dive somewhere off Fort Lauderdale? We like to see lots of fish and color, not so much into deep dives.
