... but it struck me as clever. There was a bar near campus called The Library, so students could legitimately answer that call from home saying "I was at the library!"

That opens a lot of possibilities: how about "Church"... "The Community Volunteer Office"... "The Blood Donation Center"... "Overseas Orphans Aid Society"... etc.

Imagine it: "Where have you been?!?!?!" "Church, honey!!! Really!!!"

One of my favorite names for a place here in Saginaw is "Overtime". It's right across from the one GM Powertrain plant where they assemble drivetrain componants for the GM trucks. If the boss lady asks where you have been, you can always reply a single word "Overtime".

How about "Under Pressure" ! A true statement, when you are looking at a loan, when the police might have an eye on your customers, when you want to have a succesful business, and if they are divers - when you are underwater
