I have my suspicions on this guy, but I wanted to reach a consensus...

So without further ado...

Seen off of Boynton Beach, FL on a reef.
About 4" long.

juvenile rock hind was my suspicion
 
but now that I look up the redspotted hawkfish, I think we have a winner.
