Hi All - need your help Sadly our trip to Indonesia in Sept/Oct 2021 looks like it isn't going to happen with the new quarantine rules, so we are thinking of going to Egypt instead. We are used to luxury liveaboards in Indonesia (like the Arenui, Coralia, and Dewi Nusantara) but hear that Egypt doesn't have quite that level of luxury liveaboard.
We want a boat with good food, great service, good diver to master ratio, decent room size, and safety first! We have been on liveaboards in the Caribbean that were more basic, but hoping to find a more luxury one in Egypt (we can temper our expectations). It seems liveaboard prices in Egypt are much cheaper than Indonesia so price isn't a worry. Any suggestions?
Also where is the best place to dive in the Red Sea in Oct? We prefer good coral and marine life over wrecks (unless the wrecks are covered in life) and I love macro life.
Thanks!
(Quick side note I did grow up in Egypt like 30 years ago so am familiar with the country - but haven't been back in 20 years, and my hubby has never been).
