Hi all,
I need help finding a replacement for a mask strap I purchased years ago at DEMA, but can't seem to locate online. This slap strap has the usual velcro straps to connect it to your mask, but it also has one very unique feature, it includes a small fastex style buckle - one on each side of the head - that when unsnapped gives you a longer strap instantly, allowing you to drop the mask around your neck without choking you! (and without having to adjust your strap length each time). When you need to replace your mask, you just reclip it and it and it is instantly at the right tension. I am hoping they are still being made, so if you know where to purchase them, I would love to hear about it.

Hmm...I haven't heard of this, but sounds interesting. Hopefully someone can provide an answer or link. I'd like to check it out.

Is the circumference of your neck larger than that of your head?

Do you still have the old one, a picture of the old one? Would be interesting to see how they threaded it all. Seems like it might be an easy DIY thing. If you need either the velcro or buckles to do a new one they shouldn't be that hard to come by.

In my case, close enough. Mask around the neck feels like I'm being choked by a midget.

I haven't seen one, but it seems he means it has a side-release buckle on one or both sides that when unclipped, allow the slap strap to extend so that the mask strap is essentially just super long, but when clipped, the slack is taken up and the strap now has the proper length to keep the slap strap around the back of your head.
