I dived with Ambassadors last year and happen to know that Jason fired the guy who was smoking on the boat, as neither clients nor crew liked it! The operation is well run and they used AL80's filled to 3K. They picked me up from our condo but you can meet them at the dive shop instead if you have a rental car. Once I had checked in with Ambassador for my first days diving, I met them at the boat each morning as it was more convenient to me.

The trips started at around 8:00-15 getting back to the public beach around 11:15-30 ish. The afternoon trip departed at 1pm and got back around 4pm. They also offer guided night dives Monday through Thursday although I didn't do one, another guest did and said it was 'just amazing'.

The entry and exits from the boat are giant stride or back roll and ladder exit, same for nearly all the smaller operations in Cayman, and access was very easy. The Boat I dived from is a Parker and has setting for 8 guest's, there was plenty of room.

I dived mainly west but if the weather is favorable and comfortable they will go north but otherwise mostly west trips. Ambassador also run a fantastic 3 stop snorkel trip to the sting ray sand bar, for smaller groups 12 max. I was the only diver in my group so my family did this instead and my 65 year old mother loved it!

The guys at Ambassador do work hard to give customers a good time and have a lot of worldly diving experience. I had a great time diving with Ambassador and am looking forward to diving with them again soon.

I dove with Neptune this April, good op. We are experienced and had no issues:ie: diving our computers/diving most of our air/ diving limits. Good op, congenial in all respects, I will continue to recommend.

Dove w/ Ambassador Sept 2009, great op. We were 4 - 1 semi-experienced, 10 yr diver, AOW + specialties (me); 1 hit or miss OW diver for the last 15 years (she dives when we do girl vacations); 2 never had a reg in their mouth until this trip.

The newbies had a great intro - did pool work then 2 dives off 7MB each about 45 minutes, 40 feet. They both felt very safe with their instruction and had no problems on the dives. My buddy is a complainer - "I can't clear, I have to go slow, broke my nose 30 years ago, had sinus issues in the past, can't get down fast"...you know the type? Even I wanted to choke her, but they were extremely patient (unlike me - SPLASH! - "see you on the bottom") which I appreciated.

Most mornings the other diver and I did North Wall trips. Shop opened on time, left on time, out to the reef, boats ran great. Never crowded, we did have 6 divers plus 2 crew on the whaler out to the wall one morning, but didn't feel crowded at all. We had a mix most days - even out to the wall. My buddy had never seen 100' before. 2 days we had folks doing check out dives. Now the student and the instructor did NOT go over the wall on those dives, stayed on the shallow plateau side.

YES - Ambassador runs a great 3 stop Stingray Sandbar trip. We had a party of 5, had the boat to ourselves, felt special!! It was a long trip and very reasonably priced.

We kind of lucked in Ambassador as we were staying at 7 Mile Beach Resort - right across the parking lot, but had a great time, heartily endorse them and hope to get back soon!
