Hello Divers! :)

I just joined this forum.
I want to get a lot of information related to diving around the world to improve my knowledge.
And, just because I live in Bali, Indonesia, I would like to share my diving experience, article, and photo also to you all here :)

And if anyone of you all want to dive in Bali Indonesia, I can provide information that may be useful, even I can be your buddy :)

Hi there,
I've just joined this forum too. And, nice coincidence, I'm going to Bali on Thursday this week. I'll be diving sites around the island with AquaMarine during 12 days, if the weather conditions permit...

I've got a question for you: would a 3 mm full-length wetsuit (plus hood and gloves) be enough warm to dive in Menjangan island, Tulamben, Amed, and Nusa Penida at this time of the year? Or would a 5 mm wetsuit be necessary in some of the sites?

Thanks a lot in advance for your reply.

Natalialesmana,

Bali...what a great place from what I have been told. A friend of mine has a house there and someday I hope to visit your part of the world

Hi Grocio,

3mm wetsuit is enough confortable for Tulamben, Amed, and Menjangan also. But i think at nusa penida i suggest you to wear 5mm plus hood and gloves.

Honestly, A the first untill the second week of january 2013, there is a bad wheater so the visibility is no good. But this week will be better i think. Almost every year at the first untill the second week of january bali have bad visibility for diving.

Have fun at Bali the island of God :) and share your experience later, if you dont mind

Thanks a lot for your quick reply, Natalialesmana. Hope the weather in Bali will improve soon, since I'm getting there on Friday evening!

I'll certainly share my experience in the Islands of Gods.

Take care,
Grocio
