Hello to all. I am seeking information on packing for a vacation.

Hello from Matt,

Welcome to ScubaBoard ! :1poke: I came here to look for help with my scuba diving dream and the response has been fantastic. So, I know you will enjoy being a member here.
There are a lot of nice and informative scuba divers. It's a good place to meet other divers and share experiences and dreams. Take care from Matt. :snorkels:

Hi there. My name is Kayla, and I have been diving for over two years now. (I've been a members here for the same amount of time!) I think that you will learn a lot here, and hopefully you can add some experiences of your own! I hope to get to know you better!

Safe diving!
Kayla

Well, where are you going? Are you a diver or a snorkeler? What sort of gear do you have?

If you'll fill out your profile and give us a little info, we'll be more than happy to give some opinions. We're full of them!

Welcome to the board,
Grier

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Packing for a trip will have a bit to do with what kind of diving you will be doing and what types of accomodations you will have. Also, some of the items you may pack could have something to do with the local conditions. For instance, at certain times of the year in Florida, you don't want to have a lot of exposed skin due to an organism that will be present in the water and cause exposed skin to get a nasty little rash. So for that, you may want to pack a dive skin or thin wetsuit.

Don't forget to fill out your profile, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

First of all, welcome to the Board, as already mentioned, we really need to know where your going and what your plans are. I would agree with Scott to put a new post in the travel section. You'll have a whole slew of info in no time at all.

Cheers!
