Welcome Melissa! Wow, I now you are from Alaska, but drysuit is crazy for a new diver. If you ever come to VA hit me up and we will go diving.

Yea I thought it might have been a bit much for a new diver also but in order to dive here, most of the time you need to have a dry suit cert for any of the dive shops to rent you gear. And if you want a comfortable dive experience you need to dive in a dry suit up here so thats what I did. I dont regret it because that was pretty tough but now that I know how to use it, it definately made a diffrence in diving in 37 degree water.

I'll def look you up if and when I'm in VA !!! Is there good diving there??
Its hilarious because im from Fl originally and chose to get certified in AK. Crazy!!!
